Over just the first year of Aurora Quest K-8, the library has increased by about 43%! Our opening day collection was 6562 books and as of July 2009, there were 9382 items. The increase comes from many donations, the fall and spring book fairs, and some continued funding from the initial construction. The YA collection for our middle schoolers almost doubled. Thank you!
Mary Beth MacLeay will be in the library every Wednesday. Mary Beth is a certified librarian. For the remainder of the week the checkout desk will be kept open by parent volunteers. Library Policies:
All books and magazines will be checked out for two weeks.
K through 8 may check out three books. 2nd - 8th may also check out one magazine
No fines are assessed for overdue books. Per APS policy: A replacement charge to cover the cost of replacing lost or damaged books is required at all levels.
All students may check out E, F, or Nonfiction books.
YA books may only be checked out by Sixth, Seventh and Eighth graders.
