It is the mission of the Aurora Quest K-8 PTA to foster community inclusion and academic excellence by facilitating communications, supporting teacher and staff, raising funds and enhancing the educational, social and physical environment of each student at Aurora Quest K-8 School in an effective, efficient and respectful manner.

PTA sponsors and supports many amazing activities at Quest. Our annual budget includes financial support for numerous items including:

  • Family assistance fund
  • Funds to supplement supplies in every classroom
  • The Honor Society for all grades
  • Assistance with field trip expenses for all grade levels
  • Assistance with enrichment/immersion activities for all grade levels
  • Classroom experiences (Ameritowne, Calwood, Nanowrimo)

PTA sponsors other events, bringing together the Quest community of families, friends and staff. Some of the events planned for this school year include:

  • Skate City Nights
  • Carnival
  • Family Breakfast days
  • Reflections Art Contest
  • Restaurant Nights

We have three major fundraisers that finance our budget: Catalog Sales, Butterbraid/Pie Sales and a Silent Auction. Check out our new Facebook Page for the Quest Silent Auction here:
https://www.facebook.com/AuroraQuestK8SilentAuction10.22.16/ While we have other events that do bring in some money, like the carnival and holiday shop, the three listed above our major contributors. We understand that fundraising isn't for every family and we don't expect everyone to be able to contribute financial. You can still help out and support the PTA by volunteering your time, which is just as important if not more. We understand we can’t do any of these fundraisers and events without the wonderful support of the Quest community made up of parents, guardians and staff like you. Quest strives for each family to dedicate 20 hours of volunteering services towards the school. Involvement in the PTA is one great way to plug into opportunities to meet these volunteer hours. Attendance at meetings counts towards your hours as do the many volunteering opportunities we have.  Other volunteer
