HELP WANTED

Do you need volunteer hours? Or just want to be involved with events at Quest?

There is a need for parent volunteers in the following areas:

  • CHESS CLUB - help supervise students when the club meets Thursdays 2:30-3:30p.m.
  • COMMUNITY EVENTS COORDINATOR - works with PTA to plan and promote community events such as movie nights, Muffins with Mom, Fuddrucker’s night, etc.
  • TECHNOLOGY -
    • Kindergarten and 1st grade classes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 1:30-2:30p.m. – just to answer questions, help with printing, etc.
    • After school open lab on Tuesday and Thursday 2:30-3:30p.m. supervision of students grades 4-8
    • Maintaining pod computers – keep the desktops clean and uniform, run updates and usual maintenance procedures
    • Specialized small student groups grades 4-8 - teach students basic troubleshooting techniques, digital photography, videography with Adobe Premier Elements, etc. All ideas welcome. These small student groups will meet on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30.
  • SKATE CITY FUN BUS - Did you know there's a bus from Quest to transport students on Skate City Nights?  Volunteers are welcome to help supervise kids on the bus to and from Skate City.  Contact Debbie Barents for more info: baroates@comcast.net.
  • MEDIA CENTER - Volunteers are needed to work in the media center.  Shifts are from 7:45-11:45 or 11:45-2:45.  Contact Erinn Hill if you'd like to help:  erinnhill@yahoo.com.
