Quest Home to Three City Wrestling Champions! 

On the 14th of November, the Quest wrestling team challenged other APS middle schools at Rangeview High School and emerged winners!  Our 7th grade team wrestled so well that we took 2nd place overall as a team!


Individually in the 7th grade 75-pound class, Elijah Holt-Middleton took 1st place as did Luke Robinson in the 103-pound class.  Not to be outdone, 8th grader Doug Lesher won the city championship in the 154-pound weight division.  Way to go guys!


Many of our wrestlers placed during the competition showing great skills and sportsmanship while doing so.  We’d like to recognize these hard working athletes.

Third place finishes in 7th grade went to

  • Raymond Simanjuntak (70 lbs.)
  • Jaron Brown (90 lbs.)

Third place finish in 8th grade to:

  • Jon Simanjuntak (145 lbs.)

Fourth place finishes in 7th grade to:

  • Nick Dunn (75 lbs.)
  • Michael Smith (80 lbs.)
  • Sarah Snyder (127 lbs.)
  • Quentin Schwartz (167 lbs.)

Fourth place finish in 8th grade to:

  • Dawit Gebresellassie (103 lbs.)
